The Vision
The vision of Prodigal Son Ministries is simple and uncompromising: to help every person — regardless of their past, their record, or their reputation — discover who they truly are in Jesus Christ.
We believe the church has largely overlooked the incarcerated. But God has not. In 1997, God spoke to Bill Yount: "My most valuable treasures on earth are also locked up."
That word became the foundation of this ministry — a calling to go where others won't, to preach where the world says it's hopeless, and to declare that the Father is always running toward His prodigal children.

The 1997 Vision
Years before the prophecy, in 1997, God spoke to Bill Yount: "My most valuable treasures on earth are also locked up." That same year, T. Stacy Hayes received a vision of a massive prison filled with thousands of inmates and was given a key that fit every lock in that prison.
As the doors opened, a golden and silver glow radiated from the inmates — the light of God's glory resting on those the world had written off. That vision has never left him. It is the heartbeat of everything Prodigal Son Ministries does.

The Founder
T. Stacy Hayes
In Acts 9, Jesus stops Saul on the road to Damascus — not to condemn him, but to call him. That same grace reached T. Stacy Hayes. Like Paul, he was not who the religious world would have chosen. But God doesn't call the qualified — He qualifies the called.
Through years of jail ministry, street evangelism, and prophetic teaching, God has used Stacy to bring the Gospel to those the church often overlooks — the incarcerated, the broken, and the spiritually imprisoned. His message is simple and uncompromising: you are not your past. You are who God says you are.
The Prodigal Son Ministries exists because of that conviction — that the Father is always watching, always running toward His children, no matter how far they've wandered.
