Billy Graham's Mantle Will Fall on Prisons Worldwide
"I heard the Father saying, 'I am honoring the inmates who built the casket for My chosen servant, Billy Graham. Their names burned into the pine plywood casket represent a list of names without number that will be recorded in My Lamb's book of life, as Billy Graham's mantle falls on prisoners worldwide, including those held captive in spiritual prisons. Many who have been kept by the darkest bondage will now become the greatest evangelists of our day.'"
In 1997, God gave Bill Yount a word: "My most valuable treasures on earth are also locked up." That same year, T. Stacy Hayes received a vision — he saw a massive prison with thousands of inmates and was given a key that fit every lock. As the doors opened, a golden and silver glow radiated from the inmates — the light of God's glory resting on those the world had written off.
That vision became the foundation of Prodigal Son Ministries — a calling to reach the incarcerated, the forgotten, and those held captive in spiritual prisons, and to declare that God's greatest treasures are often found behind bars.
